Though this Winter Break passed by almost ephemerally, I must say that it was one of the most relaxing ones I’ve ever experienced. I was so lucky that I got to go on a cruise! Along with my friend Sammy and our families, I went to San Juan, St. Kitts, and St. Maarten. Luckily, we didn’t have one day of saturnine weather.
Going to the beach always makes me happy. The irregular and amorphous motion of the waves never fails to put a smile on my face. I could seriously sleep for hours just listening to the sound of the ocean. To circumvent my inevitable sunburn, I had to use 70 SPF sunscreen!!! I know, its crazy.
Having met when we were two years old, I can safely say that Sammy is one of my best friends. I don’t know what I would do without her, and she knows everything about me. She always helps to redress any problem in my life, and would never deride me or create a ruse at my expense. I hate that we both go to different schools, but I know that she’s always going to be there for me whenever I’m feeling disheveled or stressed.
